PeriShip Weekly Weather Outlook

PeriShip strives to inform our customers about weather conditions as they may have the capability to affect the transit of shipments. Below is a general weather outlook for the week of Sunday, March 8th, 2015 through Saturday, March 14th, 2015.

National Weather Outlook:

Unlike last week’s forecast that was filled with wintery weather, we anticipate this week to be much calmer. To start the week, there will be a large rain system that will cover much of the South. Small and scattered snow systems will be present in the Northeast.

As the week continues, the snow in the Northeast will disappear. The rain system in the South will make its way to the East Coast and will eventually touch as far as New Jersey. Another system bringing rain will begin to form in the Northwest.

Towards the end of the week, both rain systems will still be present, covering the same areas in the South and the Northwest.
