PeriShip strives to inform our customers about weather conditions as they may have the capability to affect the transit of shipments. Below is a general weather outlook for the week of Sunday, March 15th, 2015 through Saturday, March 21st, 2015.
National Weather Outlook:
To start the week, the Northeast will experience wintry weather conditions and the Northwest can anticipate a large storm system. The rain system will move east bringing rain, ice, and snow.
As the week continues, a large storm system bringing rain will form again in the South. By this time, the system in the Northeast will disappear and the storm system in the Northwest will increase in size.
These two storm systems will move east by the end of the week. Bringing mostly rain and small amounts of ice in the Midwest.
Weather at Major Express Sorting Hubs:
New York /NJ: This week will be partly cloudy and temperatures are warming up to the high 40s and 50s.
Memphis: Skies will be partly cloudy for most of the week. Chances of rain for the end of the week.
Indianapolis: Temperatures can warm up to the 70s. Anticipate partly cloudy skies with chances of rain towards the end of the week.
Oakland: This week will be filled with mostly clear skies and warm temperatures.
Fort Worth: Sunshine will be scarce. Anticipate chances of rain and cloudy skies for the week.
