PeriShip strives to inform our customers about weather conditions as they may have the capability to affect the transit of shipments. Below is a general weather outlook for the week of Sunday, April 5th, 2015 through Saturday, April 11th, 2015.

National Weather Outlook:

As we dive into the first full week of April, we can anticipate many storm systems moving throughout the country. To begin the week, there are many scattered storm systems bringing rain and snow especially in the South, Northeast, and West.

As the week progresses, a large rain system in the South will increase in size and move towards the east coast. The storm system in the West will also move eastward.

Towards the end of the week, the large rain system will again increase in size expanding as far as Texas to parts of Vermont. The storm systems containing snow will still be present in the northern part of the Northeast as well as the Midwest.

Weather at Major Express Sorting Hubs:

New York /NJ: Overall, anticipate a week full of cloudy skies and rain.

Memphis: Anticipate many cloudy skies, rain and possible thunderstorms throughout the week.

Indianapolis: A week full of cloudy skies, rain, and possible thunderstorms.

Oakland: This week will begin with chances of rain and end with beautiful, sunny, clear skies.

Fort Worth: Overall, the week will experience cloudy skies with slight chances of rain, temperatures reach low 80s.
