The rain is still here to stay, as we move into our first full week of May.  To start the week, rain and thunderstorms will be present in the West and Midwest. Temperatures overall throughout the United States will warm up and some areas can reach up to low 80s.

As we move into the week, these storm systems will increase in size and can reach from the Northeast to the West coast as well as parts of the South.  Thunderstorms will be more frequent in the South and Midwest areas.

Further into the week, these storm systems will decrease in width but will be present in the West and Midwest areas.  These systems will cover from Texas to North Dakota. Anticipate many thunderstorms throughout these areas.

Weather at Major Express Sorting Hubs:

New York/NJ: This week will be mostly clear, sunny skies with chance of a thunderstorm on Tuesday.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Memphis: Clear skies to start the week with temps in the mid 80s. Anticipate rain and t-storms toward the end of the week.
Operational Impact: Slight

Indianapolis:  Overall this week will be filled with sunny skies with the exception of chances of rain on Tuesday and Saturday.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Oakland: Beautiful weather throughout the week with temperatures reaching low 70s.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Fort Worth: Temperatures will be in the 80s, anticipate rain and possible thunderstorms throughout the week.
Operational Impact: Slight
