PeriShip Weekly Weather Outlook – 9/6/15 to 9/12/15

National Weather Outlook
It appears this Labor Day Weekend will be filled with sunshine…. for the Northeast and the West that is. We begin the week with two large storm systems located in the Southeast and North of the country, particularly in Minnesota, bringing rain and thunderstorms.
Continuing into the week the storm system in the North will locate itself primarily to the Midwest spreading from Michigan to parts of Oklahoma. Much of the Northeast and Western states will continue to stay clear, however, the Southeast will still experience rain and thunderstorms.

Heading into Thursday, these two large storm systems will combine. Anticipate this large storm system in the Southeast, Midwest, and parts of the South bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms. These thunderstorms do have potential to impact inbound and outbound flights from major sorting hubs; PeriShip will keep you informed of the impact on transit times as soon as information becomes available.
