PeriShip Weekly Weather Outlook – 9/27/15 to 10/3/15

National Weather Outlook
The eastern part of the country will experience heavy rain for much of this week. Starting on Sunday, two storm systems will form in the Carolinas and in the South, particularly in Florida, and will bring heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Moving into Monday the storm by the Carolinas will move north towards New York and Pennsylvania while the storm in the South will increase in size and stretch over the states that border the Gulf of Mexico.

In the middle of the week, these two storm systems will combine and stretch as far as Florida to Minnesota, bringing heavy rain and thunderstorms. Smaller storm systems will form in the Northwest and in the South by Louisiana.

The end of the week will experience heavy rainfall again by the Carolinas and rainfall and thunderstorms in the Florida area. There will be smaller and scattered storm systems in the Northwest.

New York/NJ:  A mixture of rain and cloudy skies for the week. Temps can reach low 80s.

Memphis: Chance of a thunderstorm on Tuesday, clear skies for the remainder of the week.

Indianapolis: This week will be a mixture of cloudy skies and chances of rain.
Operational Impact: Slight

Oakland: Clear and sunny skies throughout the week. Temps will average in the lower 70s.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Fort Worth: Temperatures will be in the low 90s. Partly cloudy skies for most of the week.
Operational Impact: Slight
