PeriShip Weekly Weather Outlook – 10/4/15 to 10/10/15

National Weather Outlook
The official forecast path for the center of Joaquin no longer includes the U.S. East Coast. However, dangerous coastal and inland flooding is expected for several states along the U.S. East Coast through the weekend, despite the low likelihood of Joaquin making landfall.

Residents along the East Coast of the U.S. should still pay close attention to the forecast now through this weekend. It is a particularly difficult forecast that hinges on the behavior of several different atmospheric features over North America and the North Atlantic Ocean.

Parts of Montana and Wyoming will experience wintry weather during the beginning of the week. A large storm system bringing rain and thunderstorms will form in the Southwest on Sunday into Monday. This storm will increase in size and expand to the North and will then move eastward throughout the rest of the week.
