PeriShip Weekly Weather Outlook – 11/29/15 to 12/5/15

National Weather Outlook
There will be a large storm system bringing heavy rainfall to the South and Midwest to to start the week. There will also be a storm system (Winter Storm Cara) in the West and the South bringing a mixture of snow and ice, particularly in Colorado, Nebraska, The Dakotas, Texas, and parts of New Mexico.

Moving into Tuesday, the storm system bringing rain will move eastward and increase in size. It will be present in the Northeast as well as the South. The storm system bringing winter weather will move North to Minnesota and Michigan. There will also be a storm system forming in the Northwest bringing a mixture of weather events such as rain, snow, and ice.

To close out the week, the rain will disappear in most areas except the Southeast where it will continue to bring heavy rainfall and thunderstorms to Southern Florida. The storm in the Northwest will increase in size and continue to bring a mixture of weather events. Smaller, scattered storm systems bringing wintry weather will be present in upstate New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

New York/NJ: Overall this will be a mostly partly cloudy week with the exception of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Memphis: Anticipate rain during the beginning of the week. Clear skies for the rest of the week.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Indianapolis: It will be partly cloudy for the beginning of the week with a chance of rain on Monday. Clear skies for the rest of the week.
Operational Impact: Slight

Oakland:  Clear and partly cloudy skies throughout the week with a chance of rain on Thursday.
Operational Impact: Minimal

Fort Worth: Rain on Sunday. Partly cloudy skies throughout the week. Temps in the low 60s.
